The Underground Railroad, it was in a tunnel under a house or root cellar. The Underground Railroad smelled more like tar. Most slaves did most of the work where they lived at. It’s horrible that the slaves had to work where they lived. The slaves had to because they were escaping and they had to stay in the tunnel. Hundreds of thousands of slaves were involved in the Underground Railroad. In the Underground Railroad the slaves were really the all people that were involved. The Underground Railroad doesn’t affect the slaves because they escape from slavery. When the slaves escaped the slavery ended because they stayed in a tunnel under a house is which called the Underground Railroad.
